Burst pipe? Flooded basement? Let’s get your home back in good shape.

Mila’s is IICRC certified in water damage restoration and handles insurance claims directly — mitigation, drying, and full reconstruction from one family-owned team.

Water Damage Restoration

What We Do

Expert water restoration for homes, condos, and commercial properties

According to the Insurance Information Institute, 14,000 Americans are affected by water damage every day. Faulty dishwashers, washing machines, plumbing, and HVAC systems are the usual causes — along with corroded pipes that leak and frozen pipes that burst.

Our drying processes are minimally invasive to keep completion time short and costs low. And because Mila’s is a one-stop shop, the same team that dries your home also rebuilds it — no juggling three contractors while you’re living out of a suitcase.

Our Process

Here’s exactly what happens after you call

01

The Call

First we assess whether this is an emergency — we can often help you shut the water off while still on the phone. What space is affected? How much water do you see? When can we inspect?

05

Reconstruction

Insulation and drywall go back in, then prime and paint. Flooring is matched or replaced with your choice; removed cabinets, vanities, and tubs are replaced with new versions you pick.

02

Inspection & Free Quote

We identify the type of damage and whether insurance involvement is worth it, then give you a free quote that details every stage of the work.

03

Mitigation & Drying

Minimally invasive drying keeps time and cost down. Depending on the damage that may mean removing drywall or drilling behind baseboards — we walk you through it first.

04

Dry Goal Reached

Timelines vary with the level of damage. Once your space hits its dry goal we pull our equipment and move into reconstruction.

Insurance

With a claim or without one — we handle both

During the inspection we look at what type of damage you’ve experienced and whether it’s worth involving insurance at all. Claims can raise premiums and deductibles, so we’ll give you an honest read before anyone files anything.

Without insurance involvement

We provide a private quote detailing each stage of the process.

▸Work authorization agreements for both mitigation and reconstruction

▸One company start to finish — no coordinating trades

▸Honest input on what actually needs to be replaced

With insurance involvement

We work directly with your insurance company and provide all necessary documentation.

▸We use the same estimation program insurers use, so pricing lines up

▸Photos and material samples sent straight to your adjuster

▸Bills go to your provider — you cover the deductible on day one

Warning Signs

Visible and hidden water damage

Mold can begin growing about 48 hours after water intrusion, so a leaky pipe or a basement pump backup is worth a same-week call. If you spot any of these, get it looked at.

▸Staining on ceilings or walls

▸Peeling paint

▸Sagging ceilings, bubbled flooring, lumpy walls

▸A musty or earthy smell

▸Visible mold growth

▸Constant moisture in your flooring
